Team 6 releases first tracks for Stop-Rokkasho Project. Ryuichi Sakamoto launched stop-rokkasho.org in response to the opening of a nuclear reprocessing plant in the village of Rokkasho in Japan’s northern Aomori Prefecture. Sakamoto wrote and recorded a new track along with shing02 and Christian Fennesz under the group name Team 6 as a way to begin the Rokkasho awareness campaign.
